Puss Moth |
I have three that I'm not sure about...can anyone help?
The first, is it Red Twin-spot or Dark-barred Twin-spot? (Or neither!)
Then two more I can't identify...
Thanks in advance for any help.
That's a Red Twin-spot Penny, the next looks like a Pale Mottled Willow. Not sure about the Pug, did you keep it? Is it Mansel or Mansell?
ReplyDeleteThank you. Looking back at the history of the name I think it should be Mansell, as the road signs/maps have it. But the post office has Mansel, so whatever!
Deletethat's probably Grey Pug; long protruding abdomen, obvious central spot, rather vague barring and wings held 'up' slightly from horizontal
ReplyDeleteThank you Steve.
