Dusking

Spent an hour with the net along the Laugherne Brook at Dines Green this evening. Conditions were perfect for moths, and I was rewarded with 9 micro species before the sun went down. Nothing amazing was caught, but Agonopterix purpurea was nice to see - the first I've found in Worcester since moving here:

1 Agonopterix purpurea
2 Agonopterix heracliana
1 Pyrausta aurata
1 Dysericrania subpurpurella
100+ Elachista rufocinerea
1 Scrobipalpa costella
1 Epiphyas postvittana
Anthophila fabriciana
1 Esperia sulphurella
