Back again, with kind permission of the owner, to Siege Wood, near to Woolhope for a 3 hour moth trapping session. Rob Hemming socially distantly joined me in the adjacent Buckenhill Woods. A very nice mild night and moth arrivals were a little slow, but steady and by pack up time I had a list of 113 species with maybe about 15 micros still to do later in the year. This time I also remembered to pot a couple of Fern moths, now there are suddenly 2 species in the UK about and liaison with the Kent expert on these two and another expert from Austria, they both tell me dissection is needed, so that I will do later in the year. The list is attached below, some very early arrivals of species you may note. Meanhile the garden has been producing +/- 70 species a night. Peter Hall
