For my friends Martin Evans and Roger Edmondson I attach a Lilac Beauty caught last night and in very good condition too and then onto the main reason, the VES lure in the garden today attracted an Orange-tailed Clearwing, which is the 5th ever county record, the first ever adult and the first since 1992. Quite pleased! Forgot about Rob Hemmings one from last month...so the 6th and second adult record. Peter Hall
