Bringsty Common

I'll post a general moth trapping blog around mid-week with luck. Today I had success with the TIP lure and managed to attract 2 Currant Clearwings despite no currants being anywhere near here. They arrived late afternoon after I'd almost given up hope. Also spotted 3 Pammene auranas today on whatever umbellifer is in flower at the moment and with only 31 county records, this is one to look out for on your exercise walks...I've already increased the records by 10% in a day..
