Slightly belated news from a mega moth night at Whitchurch in the Wye Valley. 77 species were identified of which 3 were new for the site, Monopis weaverella, P.combinella & Ochreous Pug. No less than 6 Buttoned Snout came in and there were loads new for 2020 and really early too.

  2. Nice list.
    Seems that Small Elephant Hawkmoth is one of the species that doesn’t come up the hill. I’ve never caught it on top of the Doward. (I’m a mile or so away ). I do see M. weaverella most years though.
