Much activity recently. I'll start with a Hummingbird Hawkmoth seen in my son's garden in Kidderminster on Thursday afternoon. The garden trap has been on all week with many year ticks including Barred Umbers, Figure of Eighty, Maiden's Blush, Green Silver Lines, Scorched Wings, Broken Barred Carpet, Peach Blossom, Grass Rivulets, Clouded Bordered Brindles, Orange Moth, Silver Y, Knotgrass, Alder Kittens, Gold Spot, May Highflyer...plus many micros including Phyll roboris,Pammene germanna, trifolli, filicivora, ulmella and atricapitana.
Dog walking day netting has produced Burnet Companion, Small Yellow Underwing, Pea Moth-nigricana, aruncella and jurassicella at Burlish Top; denticulella, nigricomella, reliquana and nanella at Devil's Spittleful; and we netted a bistrigella in the Wyre when myself and Steve photographed and released a Large Red belted Clearwing on Sunday.
All in all a very busy week!
Sounds like you are keeping busy in retirement!
