Hi Ian, I'd say Red Belted rather than Large. I can see no sign of the orange suffusion at the base of the wings as described on UK Moths and the timing and site support Red Belted rather than Large.
I agree with Patrick - Female Red Belted. There are a few red scales on the wing edges but no visible colour at the base of the fore wing. Both species have quite a bit of colour on the underside of the fore wing.
